We’re you able to replicate the problem?

I’m running Win 11 24H2 in case it’s important.
Thanks.
I removed the folder & cleaning scan reaches 6% then closes saying cleanup is complete which doesn't seem right. Running the system cleaner again however shows no files need cleaning.
Problem with Initial Setup running every time program is opened remains though.Within that folder there a 'latest' folder & inside that there is a jre-1.8 folder which appears to be a shortcut to the uninstalled JAVA. I susprect I may need to dete this manually.
I’ll need to check. As a note I uninstalled Java a few months ago.
I’ve now clean installed the program & problems remain.
It crashes while cleaning Programfiles>JAVA.jv16
Not a full uninstall/reinstall but I did install over the program to repair any potential corrupt files.jv16
Thanks.I’d like to add that Initial Setup runs every time the program is opened.
Always happens.
But no mention of updates to the file cleaner?

I'm having a problem with the file cleaner, while it scans fine the actual clean closes the program at about 44%.

Running Win 11 24H2.
Windows Defender.
Malwarebytes
JV 16 added to exclusion list on both.So does that mean the disk cleaning part of JV16 has been abandoned?
I've found a bug but if parts the program is being discontinued then it may not get investigated.- Sorry, we encountered an error while displaying this content. If you're a user, please try again later. If you're an administrator, take a look in your Flarum log files for more information.
Wonderful news. I may try saving the file, deleting the original then replacing it with the saved file. Being able to save settings would be beneficial after a clean install of JV16.

This is an excellent idea especially if it would backup the allowed/ignored programs list. - jv16 wroteDoctor9fan wrote
New version is good although it does still hang on around 2%. At least the problem with it showing fonts as temp files has been fixed & no command popup after a restart so the popup was down to cleaning the fonts folder.
Thank you for confirming the fixes! By hanging around 2%, what do you mean exactly? Do you mean the app locks up and does not continue after 2% progress? Or that there is some delay at around 2% but the program continues normally after that delay? Also, I am assuming you are referring to the process of System Cleaner scanning? Or the cleaning?
There is a delay @ 2% which takes around 5 minutes to continue.
Yes it’s the cleaning. Scan is very quick.
