Deluge (download folder)

Hello, hello.

Uninstalr sees my download folder (it says its size) as Deluge's. I wonder will Uninstalr delete that folder if I start uninstall of Deluge tool? I don't want Uninstalr delete my download folder.

First of all, that folder is not Deluge's, if you know what I mean. It's my folder, I created it, not Deluge. I just said to Deluge that save files there.

To see what data would be deleted if you would uninstall some specific app, simply select the app (e.g. Deluge) and click Uninstall and the next screen shows every path that Uninstalr sees to be relating to this app and which it would remove should you proceed.

Do notice that you are recommended to review this list of paths before ever uninstalling anything and if you see any paths there that you do not wish to be removed, you can simply edit the list and remove such paths.

If there are any paths you think should not be there, please report them here and I will see if I can find the bug and fix that.

The path visible on your screenshot is clearly relating to Deluge and that is why Uninstalr detects it and suggests it to be removed. But as said, this is only a suggestion from Uninstalr and you can edit the list of paths before actually removing anything.

Thank you for your response and the suggestion to review the list of paths before uninstalling anything. I always make sure to do that, so it's not a problem.

However, the tool has identified a custom folder that I created, which happens to include 'deluge' in its name. I believe the tool would still want to delete this folder even if it were named something generic like 'dummyFolder4Files,' as long as it is set in Deluge as the folder where downloaded files should be saved.

I see your point about the "G:\Deluge (seeding)\" folder. While it is clearly related to the Deluge app, it should not be deleted if Deluge is uninstalled. I shall make this improvement for the next version of Uninstalr. Thank you for reporting!
