Translation issues

Version 2.1 has translation isssues.
The following lines are not translated obviously because they are missing in the English file:

You are about to uninstall X.
Please notice that Uninstalr does not create backups.
This is your final confirmation. Have you carefully reviewed the list of data to be removed and wish to start the uninstallation?

Also why can't I find the translation files as in jv16 PowerTools > Translations? Notice that I have installed the program through Setup. There is no such a folder in the Uninstalr directory.

All the standalone apps such as Uninstalr, WinFindr etc use a bit different translation system than jv16 PowerTools, that is why the translation files are not distributed with the standalone apps the same way they are included with jv16 PowerTools.

There are a few different reasons as to why, but the main reason is that we want to avoid the situation where there are different versions of translation files in public, some distributed with jv16 PowerTools, some with Uninstalr, some with WinFindr and so on.

I understand, but you cannot do anything with the translation files in the standalone apps, because there is no location to put them in. I suppose the translation files are included in the main executable itself.

Yes. And the documentation of the apps instruct anyone who wants to change or improve the translations to download https://jv16powertools.com/downloads/TranslationHelper.zip and then send the changed translation file to me.

In the German translation there is an unlucky formulation with “Warten Sie einmal”. A better option would be “Bitte warten Sie einen Moment".

PS. I understand the included translations are not the best. They are mostly automatically generated. I can’t afford to hire professional translators to create and maintain dozens of translations for a free software. I can barely afford to keep the lights on in my office (read: my basement). If you want to help with the translations, please download this Zip file , open the translation file of your language with any text editor such as Notepad++, locate the [custom_strings_uninstaller] section and edit any poorly translated texts from there. After you are done, send me the updated translation file and I will include it to the next released version of the program. Thanks!

So, I'm afraid, the developer will not correct the translation himself.
