So, to be clear: we released build 301 few minutes ago as a quick fix for this unfortunate visual problem in the original build 300. The build 300 had a bug which caused the result listing component to display wrong texts on screen. This bug was due to the visual corruption bug fix we attempted, but in some systems it seemed to produce these incorrect texts being displayed.

This is fixed now indeed.

System Cleaner results

There are no details listed in Browser History Data nor in Browser Cookie Data. I mean the found items are not listed, just "Firefox history", "Chrome History", "Firefox cookies" and "Chrome Cookies". Why not? Maybe because the list would become too long? In any case it would be better to list the cookies in detail.

Thank you for reporting. We shall report this to Microsoft as a false positive. Unfortunately that is all we can do, we have no control over what Smartscreen blocks.

I understand, but Smartscreen did not block earlier betas or earlier build of the RC. It blocks also setup of build 301.

The latest RC still doesn't show either the IP or the provider of my current DNS - just the ones it's offering to switch to. Many people pay for specific services from their DNS provider (such as OpenDNS) - a reminder that you are switching away from the service you pay for might help keep people from being surprised later when their DNS services are no longer what they expect.

Same obeservation for build 301. Look at this screenshot: second run took double as long as first run. Why? I didn't fix the issues founds after the 1st run and nothing changed to my system :?

If one wants to enter "D:\Backups\" in the box, does one need to enter the quotation marks (""), too?! :

Is it OR isn't it, not very 'self-explanatory' (for newbies) to right-click a category in the Scanning Results in order to

(de-)select all category-items!? :?

Food for thoughts.....

For instance, maybe there's another (more logical, visual?) way.... like a 'main' checkbox on the same line as the category-name.

You can (un-)check the 'main' box in order to (un-)check all the category-items. :

It ran Internet Optimizer and changed my DNS TO 1.1.1.1. OK, no problem it is .09 seconds faster than OpenDNS.

It then ran system Optimizer and cleaned up a bit. OK with that.

Software Uninstaller is having trouble though. It has been on 1% for over an hour and the screen background is showing artifacts, see screenshot.

I only selected a few older programs to uninstall.

I will let it run for a few hours and check back here.

Two days ago the bug in seemed to be fixed, PT NMV 301 was a Licensed version!

After starting up PT NMV 301 today, I 'casually' checked and found that it was reduced to a Trial version again!!

I clicked on and after a few seconds it became a Licensed version again!?

This doesn't seem like a stable fix to me. :

No, I meant the 'sub'-categories, not the 'main'-categories. :)

The "license-issue" in still exists! :

Again I am working on a "Free trial version" instead of a "Licensed version" based on my Platinum VIP license, with 28 days left.

After clicking [Apply, closing down and then starting up PT_NMV_301, license shows "Licensed version" again.... Go figure! :
