1) The Internet Optimizer only searches for fastest DNS servers for IPv4 and NOT for IPv6.

2) Restoring backups for Internet Optimizer doesn't seem to work: the most recent settings don't seem to be replaced by those of the backup(s).

I tested again - results:

1) from within Backups (main screen) it does not work

Hello there Support, are you on vacation?

I repeat my comment concerning the My Account issue: we are unable to send our data (name and email address). We get always the error message Internet Connection Failed, although that connection is fine. All the other places of the program where the Internet Connection is needed are OK (e.g. Internet Optimizer, Help>Check for Updates, etc.). I reported this problem (bug, issue) days ago and still no answer, nor fix. However it's urgent, because I just have 3 days left of the trial and then finished!

This is barely a beta1 quality app. Also, you guys dumbed down the app by stripping away many features.

Selecting Fast Benchmarks is not a problem and the selection remains after closing and restarting the program.

Selecting Extended Benchmarks however gives an issue: the selection doesn't remain after closing and restarting the program. There's even no selection remaining (see screen shot below) Is this by design?

Both of these bugs confirmed and fixed, thank you for reporting!

I CANNOT find where to see before and after efficiency ratings or percentage improvements of the various things the Sys Cleaner supposedly "fixed." Where is that information hiding???

The first time I ran it (jv16 PowerTools Beta) the message said that the system scan took 150 or so seconds to run and it was 56 to 60 percent (ran twice with different results without doing anything or deleting anything) faster than the average scan time of other users around the world. The second time I ran it the message said it was only 18% faster than the average scan time of other users around the world. It's getting worse?

Also the system scan message said

The system scan found 3160 items to fix and clean. It is 265% more than average! Your computer has a lot of errors and junk!

This was the message after running it the 2nd time and the message said the approximately the same thing the first time.

I ran it a 3rd time and it seemed to be getting better. No problems with registry as I had performed a system backup and a system restore point and there are no problems with the registry to report.

I'm not sure why this is happening but it may have a problem with my security suite. I'm running the built in Windows 10 security program, Windows Defender and Norton Security Deluxe. It's important to note that I run many other registry cleaners and have never had a problem deleting files. I use: Eusing Free Registry Cleaner, Revo Uninstaller Pro, Glary Utilities 5, CCleaner v5.52.6967 and jv16 powertools (last edition) and of course jv16 PowerTools Beta. I'm running all the latest editions in all most software.

I also sent you the data file as you requested to support@macecraft.com. I hope that this may have some useful information for you and if I’ve done anything wrong or posted instead of emailed you, I appoligize in advance. I’ve got so much going on and I’ve spent way more time doing this than I was planning on.

after running Internet Optimizer it is no longer possible to connect to Fritz!Box router frontend, so it is no longer possible to configure the router. Using the registry backup doesn´t resolve the problem. You have to reset the complete system.

Thanks, but that doesn't really help. If you want to provide valuable feedback, please specify what exactly is not working.

According to our research (both by data from the application, and by user feedback), over 95% of jv16 PowerTools users are only using the system cleanup feature and the Software Uninstaller. That is why we are focusing on those. As you may have noticed from this and the previous threads about the PT NMV, there has been very few comments about the removed features. We are open in adding any features from the current / classic jv16 PowerTools back in, but in order for that to happen, there must be real user demand for those features.

Our support does not monitor this forum thread, only I do. Unfortunately I have been busy lately with the development work. I just replied to your email and asked our support staff was your ticket replied on how long it took. They will come online soon (we are on a different time zone), I can update on this when I hear from them.
