My computer: HP Pavillion dv9543 Win Vista HP sp2. Registry cleaner detects 32 keys/entries related to RVPViewer which it cannot fix.
I have no idea re whether this relates to a bug or an idiosyncracy of my computer. I found this particularly interesting as there is a date: 02.11.2006 which predates my purchase of Aug 2007. I also have a zipped (7-Zip) screen print of the Registry Cleaner results using this beta 1 software, however, your uploader will not work with it (I had to click the 'add this' button 3-4 times today to load the attached debug file.
I inspected the Hot-Key entry suggested yesterday in an emailed response and observed that there was a permission problem; however, that reply does not address my original question relating to the date (02.11.2006) which supposedly indicates last install date. As my computer was presumably assembled in 2007, does that have anything to do with this observation or could that date be related to the possibility that the RVPViewer... is a component of some software that has been more recently installed?
As I was unable to upload another screen print of the results of the software uninstaller which indicated that uninstall info was unavailable for this beta 1 version, I was able to uninstall this software (Revo Pro uninstaller), then reinstall it this morning. Thus, it would appear that the uninstaller cannot find (recognize) the installer, or it simply displays meaningless info (note, jv16 PT 2011 aslo displays the beta 1 version in the category of those which have no/unknown uninstall information and that software was unable to perform an uninstallation of the beta 1 software).
