Loadout:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on Athlon 64 X2 dual core.

Logitech scroll mouse.

No mouse driver.

How to create fault:

* Put input focus into JV16 window.

* Roll scroll wheel "down".

Fault:

Main feature icons highlight one after another very fast. Program becomes unresponsive. Unable to stop using JV16 window close icon, have to use Windows Task Manager.

Repeatability:

Every time.

Are the buttons on the bottom of the windows suppost to have the horizontal lines on each side of the word? It does in many of the windows. Here is a sceen shot of one. Oh yeah can not up load attachment. For got the quota has been reached.

* The buttons contain vertical bar characters, this is normal and part of the debug system. The vertical bars mean that these buttons are dynamically positioned and resized. If any such button is not correctly sized or placed, please report.

Happens often, but not every time, with that sequence of actions. Sometimes the hang affects all of PowerTools.

I'll attach debug logs for the access violation case and the hang case when the board again allows attachments.

I'm afraid the debug log doesn't contain enough information for me to find the problem. But I have now improved the debug system so it will from now on add more information to the debug log, so I should be able to get this fixed after the next beta.

Same problem as before, I cannot get enough information from this Debug Log, I'm afraid.

But I have improved the debug system to give more information about this kind of case, so if the problem still exists in the next beta and you'll send me a new Debug Log, I should be able to find the problem.

Same here, I'm afraid. I cannot see any information that would help me to locate the problem, but I have added more debug code so if this happens with the next Beta, its Debug Log should be able to help me.

File Finder > More Functions > Explore

- Select a file in File Finder

- Click on More Functions

- Choose "Explore"

- Result: nothing happens - the function doesn't work

Same result when you right click the selected file, choose "More functions" and then "Explore".

It does work when you highlight/select a file, then click directly on "Explore" in the context menu (without choosing the More Functions).

Because it's part of the File Cleaner process. If you want to skip it, just add it to the Ignore Words.

The files under \Temporary Internet Files\content.IE5\ will only be listed when they have not been used in a few days. This is just to make sure the files are not needed any longer.

When you click on Backups you get the Settings window and when you click on Settings you get the Backups window.

Well IMO the options 'list unused fonts' and 'list unused shared system files' should be unchecked by default.

I'm not sure, but it's possible those options are actually checked by default. If so that's wrong and maybe dangerous.

The List unused fonts should be safe (now with the bug fixed) but you are correct, no need to take any risks so it's now unchecked by default. The List unused system files is checked by default, as it's very safe.

The Debug Log doesn't contain enough information for me to locate the problem, I have improved the debug system to write down more information to the Log.
