You didn't receive the newsletter? If not, please PM me your email address so I can check our logs.

In any case, PowerTools 2010 contains new features to ease the communication on cases like these. For example, with PowerTools 2010 we can add data to the user's Ignore List over the Internet connection. And we can send the users messages, these features were designed to help to handle problems like this in the future. Which I hope will not occur, but it's better to prepare.

I can't even get signed up for the newsletter. Every time I try, I get as far as clicking on the link in the verification email that sends me to an error message on the site.

The problem in question is not affecting all users. The problem only affects some users with certain system configurations.

Hanzie, the problem does not affect all users. So far we have received less than ten reports of the problem. Less than ten.

It's not a serious problem. And, all users affected by it, can update to the PowerTools 2010 for free. Before that, there is an easy-to-use workaround that you can use.

PowerTools 2009 will be updated if a critical problem is found from it, this is not a critical problem.

I agree with the above posts, if there is a bug / problem it really should be fixed.

I'm not technically minded at all so I cant work out what the bug is or what is causing it therefore I

can't make a full report on the bug or whatever it is.

An example is the post I made not too long ago that I had a problem, JV16 did reply asking if I had done some things,

I didn't know what he was getting at. I'm being honest on this even if it looks as if I'm stupid.

For me RegSupreme was a super program as was jv16 2008, I'm sorry but I cant say that about V2009.

Whether or not it results in a fix being issued, please also consider that you are now releasing a product that is known to be defective. Unfortunately, no effort is being made to ensure that all those downloading the product are aware of the defect. For example, it is possible to download using the update facility in the product.

The answers you give, while valid, do not address this concern. Many scenarios can be constructed where users suffer damage. It is largely irrelevant that the potential number of vulnerable systems is small. Having carefully read the posts on this matter, I do not recommend taking a chance here.

I would like to add that I have been using your product for very many years and would not be without it.

jv16 PowerTools 2009 will be updated if a critical problem is found. No critical problem has been found, so it is not updated. We are right in the middle of a new product version development, that is why the old version is no longer updated unless a critical problem is found.
