A new test version has been released (see the first message in the thread for the download link), it includes some heavy duty debug code. So it will be slow and sluggish, and the only reason why you might want to download is if:
a) the Registry Cleaner hangs or crashes on your computer every time you try it.
b) the Registry Cleaner misses items you know that should be included, every time you run it.
c) the Registry Cleaner includes items that you know should not be included, every time you run it.
In any of these three cases, please download and install the 585 build, start it in debug mode and run the Registry Cleaner. It can take a long time to finish, and the resulting debug log will be more than 4 MB in size.
Therefore, please take these steps to reduce the size of the Debug Log:
1) Only run the scans you need. For example, if you report that the Registry Cleaner lists items that it shouldn't, please see which module under Registry Cleaner starting window's Advanced Engine Settings causes the items to be listed. And only then, create the debug log by only running the specific module that causes this. The same applies also if the program crashes, try to see which module causes it.
2) Compress the debug log file with e.g. a ZIP program.
3) Do not send "jv16PT_functionlog", this file is not needed to debug this problem.
