license problem

I'm having the same problem with the buying license process as last year. i filled out all the info including my charge card numbers an clicked to buy, but the page didnt finish. so i dont know if im charged or not. this is becoming quite tedious. im affraid to do the process again cause i might get charged twice. if someone could inform me of my new license status i would appreciate it. maybe i should have waited a while to upgrade to 2009. i suspect this was the problem last year, an over flooding of orders.

You probably should put in a trouble ticket referring to your order number if you have one because I don't know if support will see anything in the forum like this. I have entered a ticket for not receiving my license email. Live Chat does not seem to be working right now.

There is a huge problem with either the program Jv16PowerTools2009 or the system that they use for licensing. I noticed that this time you have to download the license, in prior years it was emailed as an attachment. I have been trying for hours trying to get this program licensed, without avail. I get the following errors constantly.

Could you please send your license file as an email attachement to jouni.flemming@macecraft.com so I could try to see what's the problem?

There is no risk of double charge, even after 30 days if you notice that you were charged twice we will always refund the double charge - no problem and no questions asked.

okay, thank-you. i will wait for the email file sent to me. i was probably toooo greedy. i should have waited till the rush slowed down, probably the server was overloaded.

An updated version of the product with a version number of 1.9.0.524 was released a few minutes ago. It should address the crashing problem and the licensing problem.

Please let me know if updating the product works.

something fishy about my problem. i have yet to receive an e-mail notification of my order being processed, but according to live chat my order has gone through. so ill guess ill just wait a while to see if it gets ironed out. also i updated to 524 but it didnt fix anything,

Problem solved on version 526, except for the "Buy Now" button on the Help Menu. ( shouldn't it dissapear after installation of lic?)

Glad to hear the problem is now solved! You are correct, the Buy Now should not show with registered users, this is indeed a bug. I'll get it fixed for the next version, but I'll wait a day or two for any other bug reports before the release.

I did and it still does not work. This is getting freaking old fast!!!

Oh no!!!

Seems to be the tale of the Titanic..... sank in its maiden voyage!

I'd do the following:

Download Version 526 from http://www.macecraft.com/downloads/jv16pt_setup_hb.exe

Get your license and have it near.

Unstall everything you have. After that, go to the install dir and delete the install dir too( should have the lic file on it..., but delete that too).

Now install ( clean install).

Once finished, no not click on the last page of the installer ( Start JV16...). Wait.

get the lic file and paste it inside the install dir

Now press finish

Program should start its firsrt run already registered.
