I didn't remember to come here Sunday to report what I did but here's a brief summary of Sunday's work.
I started Sunday by making the Settings window resizable, that was a rather large task since the window contains so many components.
Next, I added the option to also abbreviate the registry paths of the Registry Finder and the Registry Find & Replace, not just Registry Cleaner.
The Partial Match feature is also now almost fully implemented, it's the addition to the Duplicate Finder that allows you to search for files that are almost duplicates but not exact ones. An interesting and a rather unique feature.
Then, I changed the Last Accessed field of Duplicate Finder's results window to Last Modified.
Today I should be able finish the Preference Saving feature. Basically, it allows you to save your tool preferences and to load them the next time you use the same tool. For example, you can save the search settings of the File Finder and the next time you want to do the same kind of file search you will have the same settings in the File Finder with just two clicks.
I already implemented the Preference Saving to all the tools except File Cleaner, I will do that first thing today.
There is only one more feature left to do after te Preference Saving feature is done, the Age and Comment system. At this point it sure looks a lot like the new version is ready for beta testing before the end of this month.
