I think this issue is now fixed. The History/MRU Cleaner in Beta4 already contains a duplicate entry checker but I found one case in which duplicate items could be listed.

Could you please give more information about this problem?

The line in question is highlighted in the first screenshot. The count now says 6 instead of 4 because I actually pasted one URL into the address entry box.

The second screenshot shows the results from the "Show Entries" button. The first two entries are OK (represent the typed URL), but the last four seem to represent something else -- I don't know exactly what ... perhaps some IE7 search function ...

The last four items are in fact also MRU items, so everything seems to work as designed.

The last four items are in fact also MRU items, so everything seems to work as designed.

Perhaps Author should say Microsoft and Software should say Internet Explorer -- just to be consistent with most of the other items in the list. I doubt they are "Recently Typed URL's."

Could you please right click the gizmo folder, select properties and see what it has under Security tab? You could also do the same for gizmo.exe itself.

I'm testing BETA 4 at the moment.

Using many tools there is no problem.

However, I realized that FILE Finder does not work properly.

If I want to find files created before (also: on ...) the File Finder produces only results mentioned in the directory. It does not select any specifically files which were created on a certain date. Well this is a new mistake which functioned in 2006.

1. I open the FileFinder. In the "Files to find I enter *.doc and activate the

2. I look at search in an select d:/word (This is where my docs are.)

3. In options I deactivate all items.

4. I open search by date and activate look only ....

Moreover, I chose created after 23.02.2007 and click start.

However, the programm delivers all files from this directory and all subdirectories.

Well, that is my problem!!! It does not function.

My system is winxp professional with all current updates and net. 3.0.

I hope that I did nothing wrong. :

I just realized that the problem is solved when you deactivate in "Files to find" look only for the following files.

I leave the rest as described previously.

In this case the program shows all files which were created after the 23.02.2007.

I don't know if it is a bug or not. However, it is illogical that you cannnot restrict the file finder to find only certain files with certain characters. :|

This is indeed a bug, it will be fixed in Beta5 which is released later today.

I got some minor bleeding to my left eye last night, I don't know the correct medical term but it's nothing serious. It's better today and doesn't really hurt but it makes it rather difficult to watch a computer screen or any bright light.

If my collegue is working today the Beta5 should get released today, otherwise it might be delayed a day or two. I'd hate that because it would only need a few hours of work to be ready for testing.

But I'll let you know how it goes.

Using Beta 4 and trying to use the disk defragmenter.. It will appear like it is working, then will show 100% complete but appears to still be working, and never completes... I might add that it shows 100% after just a couple of moments...
