Filed to remove keys

Post by poldo »

A game's software has been installed on my Xp/Sp3 without my will.
Delete the software has been a long job because files and keys were scattered everywhere.
Jv16 seems unable to remove the last two keys as the screenshot
Which way to delete the keys ?

Some keys, and their subkeys, if any, have messed up permissions and/or ownership. Nothing can remove such keys until that is corrected.

This RegEdit procedure, done exactly, would probably give you ownership and "Full control" permissions of the problem key/subkey structure:
Before doing the procedure, it's a good idea to create a system restore point in case some problem occurs.
