It has come to our attention that an antivirus product called AVG AntiVirus reports that jv16 PowerTools 2009’s latest version contains a virus called “Win32/Etap”.

This report is obviously incorrect because none of our products contain viruses, any kind of backdoors, spyware or anything of that sort. And unlike most companies, we actually guarantee this in our license agreements.

We are most confident that the developer of the AVG AntiVirus product will fix the problem with their antivirus product shortly.
