Are you using Windows with Large Fonts or any other non-standard display settings? That could be one reason.
But, you can simply skip the Quick Tutorial by adding the following to Misc.dat under the Settings directory (at C:\Program files\jv16 PowerTools\Settings by default):
Tutorial=False
If the "" line already exists then don't add it, just add "Tutorial=False" under it.
If the Misc.dat file doesn't exist at all, you can use Notepad and create a file with the two lines in it and save it as Misc.dat to the Settings directory.
