Two little bugs found on jv16 PowerTools 2005 v1.5.0.277

Hi, while I was using jv16 PowerTools v1.5.0.277, I found two little bugs.

1. When I use "History/MRU Cleaner", I am asked if I want to create backups. Even if I choose not to, jv!6PT shows "Please give a description for this backup" dialogue. It happens every time I use "History/MRU Cleaner".

2. When I use "Cookie Manager", JV16PT doesn't seem to keep cookies on "keep" list. Although I move a number of cookies in "keep" list, many of them disappears and move back to "unknown" list. And same thing happens when I move cookies to "remove" list as well. This is very annoying. And it happens every time I use "Cookie Manager" as well.

Please verify above bugs, and fix it in next build.

They may seem small bugs, but they are quite annoying bugs.

1. This bug I just fixed, the updated version will be released after RegSupreme Pro 1.1.

2. Could you tell me did you use the blacklist and whitelist features to move items between the sections or did you right click the items and select move?

I Tested it, and while they stay at the keep and remove list, the reapear in the unknow list. But i just cleared the whole list.

So if you right-click on the cookies en select keep or remove, then go to those tabs, and then back to the unknow, they will all be in the unknow list again, while still being in the keep and remove list.

Atleast that is what i get.

I think it is something in the cookie detection routene or something.

I Think this is done when selecting the tab. And there fore when we select an other tab, and then go back it will lookup the cookies again.

jv16, as for "cookie manager", I didn't use any blacklist or whitelist feature. Instead, I just right-clicked and selected them to put in keep list.

BlackDex, thanks for the test, your test confirms that this issue I have had is not just my problem, but actual bug on jv16PT.

imo, jv16pt 2005 should not backup deleted cookies or "mru's".. having the program designed to do that seems like a (another) oversight, to me..

If you don't wish the product to take backup you can always just turn the backup creation option off, or tell it to ask you every time whether you want a backup to be created or not.
