I read this post:
http://www.macecraft.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=524&highlight=software+manager
which was referenced in response to someone (like me) who needed help understanding Software Manager. After reading it, I still have a question.
To quote the post, "The 'Software Manager' is used to remove the leftovers of programs that are left behind after an uninstall." Does this mean that the only programs listed in Software Manager are programs that have been uninstalled at some time or other? When I ran it, there were many programs on the list that are currently installed on my PC and are being used on a daily basis.
Or does Software Manager list all program references and leave it up to the user to determine if some of those were uninstalled but left some junk behind, that is, is the sole purpose of Software Manager to allow the user to remove leftover entries from the OS's Add/Remove list?
Thanks
