These may only be test/debug messages, but I'm getting them now when I didn't get them earlier.
The situation: I have previously compacted the registry using the Registry Compact tool. I think I have done successive compacts before without these messages (but maybe that was in beta3) .. anyway, now ...
For a checked hive, the progress bar shows compaction is proceeding.
Then the failed to compact message shows up.
I click OK, Reg Compact then does the same thing for the next checked hive, and so on until all are done.
Size after is filled in for all the checked hives.
Some show a small amount of compaction, but of course before and after are the same for most.
Probably not a problem, but I don't know what is triggering the messages.
