When on a "Useless file extension" line, the right click jump to regedit goes to My Computer instead of the desired spot.

Thanks redseujac for pointing to that. I couldn't remember where I saw it before.

That was R-Monitor, this was R-Cleaner, hasn't happen in R-Finder (yet). :) I think it only happens with some entry types.

A very good notice Tullik! This was indeed a different bug and much more serious, there was an error in the registry cleaning engine itself. The bug caused it to show invalid filetype keys for example like:

hkey_current_user\.txt, when the correct key would be, of course:

hkey_classes_root\.txt

This bug caused the RegEdit not to work, and the Registry Cleaner couldn't remove those entries either.

The bug left 10 such entries in my laptop's registry. I used 2005's Registry Finder to remove 9, left one to see what beta4 does with it.
