jv16 help menu F1 NOT functioning

The F1 key does NOT bring up the handbook. Is this intentional? If so why is it there? :?

Strange ... I can't reproduce your problem.

Everything is working fine for me.

Both clicking "Help" > "Handbook" AND htting "F1" does popup the handbook.

Is the Handbook pdf-file installed at your system?

Take a look at the subdirectory "Help" of the directory where jv16PT2005 is installed ...

Yes, two files are in jv16 Help folder. The pdf and the license.txt files. :(

Then the problem is most likely in the installation of your pdf viewer (i.e. Adobe Acrobat Reader). The PowerTools uses the standard Windows API call to request the file to be opened, if Windows don't know what to do with pdf files the procedure might fail and the handbook is never opened.

Try to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader, that should fix the problem.
