I've been using PT since about 1.3, but Fred Langa convinced me that I should buy into the new version. Done, as of yesterday, and of course there's lots of new stuff to play with.
Played with most things, lots to get used to, but I've noticed something.
Drag and drop a bunch of jpgs so the file tool got fired up: I wanted to see what analysis made of them, whether I could rename them more descriptively from inside it, that sort of stuff.
The analysis tool should be able to recognise common image formats, shouldn't it? It doesn't.
Not only that, but the option to display colour depth and dimensions in the list completely fails.
How useful is this in a tool I primarily want to keep my registry lean 'n' mean? Maybe not much... but if the facility's there, it should work as expected, shouldn't it?
v 1.5.1.311 under Win2k Pro build 2195, in case that's helpful or relevant.
