No, it's not just you... I did a 2 word search with registry find and the there was a 12 additional findings between 2005 and 2006 version. JV16 2005 found 86 entries as apposed to 74 entries for 2006. And I even went a step further and checked each line item to make sure of the count and those were the findings after running the same test with the same default settings 3x's.

jv16 is still debugging the 2006 registry scan engine.

So comparisons with 2005 are bound to be premature.

Try again when jv releases the next (still a test) version ... :)

2006r5 seems to have a few duplicate results in 'useless file ext' which displays more than it really has
