tmp files in JV16 power tools

There are a lot of tmp files in the jv16 power tools folders such as

26e.tmp, 26f.tmp, 270.tmp and there are a whole lot more of them.

I have a .png file of a lot of the tmp files but there doesn't seem to be a way to attach it.

The question is I could free up several meg worth of space if I deleted these tmp files CAN I DELETE THEM SAFELY? Next question Is there a way to do this in jv16 power tool?

Under files program settings I used all those tools that were suppose to delete old back ups everything else but hasn't worked.

Help is needed since I see no reason to keep that much tmp files on my hard drive.

In where, exactly are the temp files located at?

c:\program files\jv16 power tools 2005\backups\001FC3

and they go on and on with 26E.tmp on up

Since they are in the \Backup folder they are backups of files you have already removed with the jv16 PowerTools.

If you wish to remove these files you must remove the corresponding backup with the PT's Backup Tool, or just delete the backups\001FC3 folder. In both cases, you will, of course, lose the backup and the ability to restore the backup in the future.

Can you tell me where to go in jv16 to delete the tmp files? I have a bunch and I thought I went to the place to delete them. The only places I found was in files program settings maintenance. The other place is files bachup and it only list two backups so where are all the tmp files at in jv16? All I need is the last couple of deletes since all I need to know is that all the programs are working ok and after that I could care less about keeping several meg of tmp files on my hard drive. Thanks for your help, I thought about just using search then deleting all of them in the jv16 folders but thought I should ask first since I want JV16 to work right. All I thought I knew about windows is that you should be able to delete all files in a tmp directory and then comes XP which I use now and it has a hidden tmp directory under each users name. Go figure

If you don't wish to keep those backed up tmp files, simply delete the backup with the Backup Tool.

When you open the backup tool you can find the backup containing all the tmp files under the ID "001FC3". The backup in question is most likely listed under File Backups tab.

OK great but it list only one 001fc3 in the tmp directory under files backup program, there has to be a couple of meg all with a different name. Will deleting this one item delete all of them? Of course they are all in the oo1fc3 tmp directory. Another question and I know you are busy and I'm sorry to take up so much of your time, didn't know I was talking to the author of the program until I just looked to see who was answering my questions and let me add that I think this is the greastest program I have ever used on windows since mother's apple pie and RC cokes and moon pies. Again it's not that I don't want backups, I do, until I know everything is fine and I again might add I have never deleted anything with jv16 from the registry that had to be re-installed because something broke while using your program I do trust it a lot since I know little of how the registry works. Windows XP which I am using now, even the registry in this machine would be a mess with out it and my Millennium would not run until I used your program.

If all the temp files are under the 001fc3 folder then removing the backup whose ID is 001fc3 will remove all those files, it will remove the entire 001fc3 folder.
