Uninstalr 2.5 bugs

Hi, I just ran the Uninstalr 2.5 on my Windows 10 to uninstall just a handful of tiny leftover files and the program would not stop running. It should have taken a few seconds, maybe a minute, but it ran and ran and ran until I finally knew it was a bug and hit Esc a couple times and the computer suddenly started to reboot. This is definitely a bug. I thought this was fixed in the 2.4, but it's still a problem in the 2.5. I hope it didn't wipe out what it wasn't supposed to.

It sounds like Uninstalr 2.5 still has some issues with getting stuck during the uninstall process. I’d definitely recommend reaching out to their support team to report the bug, especially since you’ve experienced it in both versions.

What did you try to uninstall with it? If I can reproduce the problem, I can fix it.

Every path that the program is going to remove is shown to the user before the uninstallation process starts and the user is urged to verify these before starting.

Yes, there is still a bug that can cause it to get stuck. It is not serious per se (as in, there is no data loss or anything like that), but nevertheless, it should be fixed in the upcoming version. I hope the new version will be ready and released later this month. It's already in testing.
