Multiple issues with 2.4

I just downloaded and tried the latest portable version (2.4), and had multiple issues.
System is a fully updated Windows 10, 64 gig memory, and a few terabytes of disk space over several drives
AMD Graphics card
3 HD monitors

Took forever
Closed all apps with no explanation
Did multiple reboots, even though I had asked it to NOT reboot the system
Last and most annoying, after all the reboots, the window positions and sizes were all screwed up, to the point that some apps (ie: Notepad, among others) would be opening their windows off screen, Chrome opened in a tiny window in top-left corner of my left-most screen, etc. Opera did the same. I suspect it did something odd to all opened windows

I found this while researching the AShampoo Uninstaller, figured I'd try this. Not sure if I will use it again, these "features" make it almost unusable

Thank you for your feedback! Here are my comments about your points:

You can adjust the analysis depth if you prefer a less thorough analysis faster, which is what other uninstallers offer by default.
Sounds like you had the "Automatically close all running programs to perform the uninstallation" option checked. When it's checked, programs are closed to ensure no files are locked and thus prevented from being removed during the uninstallation.
Sometimes the uninstallers Uninstalr runs restart the computer without asking it from the user. Sadly, there is nothing we can do about that. If you can tell me what you tried to uninstall, I can try to see if I can reproduce the issue and see whether it can be fixed.
I'm not sure why this would happen. I will investigate to see if I can reproduce the issue.

Regarding your replies, in order:

for # 1: I'll try it again after work (last time it brought down my computer during the work day) with a lesser analysis depth.

For #2: I thought I had unchecked that, will verify next time I run

For #3: I used a business card program (designing business cards), not sure which one. Is there a log written which I can send you?

For #4: When I try it again, I'll close all the windows that are important to me to test, will let you know the results.

I may not be able to get to this until the weekend

I can report that issue #4 happened on my PC following reboot for the BSOD I previously reported. The Windows Settings window opened in the top left of the screen and came up drastically reduced in size.
