I was experimenting with Uninstalr to see how it worked and it blue-screened me every time I tried to uninstall anything unless I unchecked the "Automatically close all running programs..." checkbox.
I'm running Uninstalr 2.4 on Windows 11 (23H2 Build 22635.3570) which is an Insider Build. Running background apps include Windscribe VPN, Kaspersky Free, Viber, Betterbird (a Thunderbird fork), and Netlimiter 5 w/ infobar, as well as StartAllBack. Hopefully this information is useful should others run into similar issues.
The uninstallations seem to all run just fine so long as I leave that checkbox unchecked, but as soon as I try to uninstall anything with it checked, I get a BSOD (which for insider builds is technically a Green Screen of Death, lol).
If it's an issue with something I may have running on my system, I'd love to know about it, but since it could just be a bug, I figured I'd throw this out there to see if others have had similar issues.
Despite the issue, I commend the dev on this app. It seems to be so much better in many ways compared to the competition. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or assistance in fixing this BSOD issue on my system.
