This is on Windows 11 21H2.

When starting System Cleaner, the picture with the finger pressing the button remains 15 - 20 sec on the screen before the progress circle is showing. Also the scan takes more than 3 minutes (191 sec). That's too long. I guess all that was quicker when Windows 10 was installed on my system.

Also Initial Setup was started a second time after closing and restarting the program. After that Initial Setup was not started again.

I don't really thing 3 minutes is too long. We want to offer the users a good system cleanup and in some cases, that may sometimes take a few minutes.

That being said, I am sure there is room for speed optimization, so we will try to make it faster, of course!

The program does not automatically delete anything without user's permission. This is simply a cosmetic bug relating to the counting of data. We cannot reproduce what is happening in your system but we will try to fix it nevertheless.

Sorry, I am confused. It is displaying 1300 errors but only listing 65 for checking before deletion, so does this mean;

1. It is miscounting the 1300 errors and only 65 are real, it is deleting those 65

2. It is finding 1300 errors, but only listing the 65 of the 1300, i delete 65, but the rest of the errors remain on the system.

3. It is finding 1300, only reporting 65, but still deleting 1300 despite me agreeing to only 65

I am happy to carry out any testing you want me to do to clear this issue. If your system is not a triple monitor, and it does not happen, it may be software related. These are my specs to compare if someone else comes across this problem.

Sorry, but that is incorrect. I reran the test and it found 170 issues, but only displayed 60 of 60. I checked the 60 displayed items and NONE were log files despite my having the 'Do not list system log files' unchecked. I had a few log files in the hard drive on purpose to test this, and despite not being listed in the 60, they were deleted on the clean.

Under the settings safety policy, I have all 5 boxes unchecked. Is it possible they are found and counted, but not listed in the preview panel.

What do i need to do to help fix the issue?

Please provide the steps to reproduce the issue that you reporting, that jv16 PowerTools does not list some log files but deletes them. That should never happen.

Note! I have the same settings on my laptop, and it displays everything correctly. It appears to be an issue with my PC setup. I can live with this issue, so can you ask if anyone else is getting the same problem, and if not, I will accept it as something in my PC that causes it.

The questions I had are in softwareuninstaller.txt (Ascii) inside the ZIP of same base name.

Some Windows installations seem to come with elements of Google Chrome pre-installed. Bonjour is an application relating to Apple products and it's automatically installed if you install any Apple software, such as iTunes to your computer. As to why Forte Agent is listed as a leftover trace, I am not sure. I will need to study that more.

@jv16 - there is nothing with a publisher close to "Apple" except for bonjour. I'll check the old system since I used laplink to transfer. And any ideas why Agent is listed as an leftover trace?
