SMALL BUG: In Programs and Features on Windows 10 (after a complete uninstall and reboot of Windows 10) version 7.0.0.1274 is being registered as version 6. Otherwise a fine release! :)

I agree. This is now implemented, thank you for the suggestion! This improvement will be included to the next released version.

I have 3 monitors on my primary system. They are attached to an Nvidia 980 Ti card with Display Port connectors. The monitors are controlled by the latest version of DisplayFusion. The monitors are arranged as 2-3-1 with monitor 3 being the primary monitor.

When I open jv16, the splash screen displays properly on the primary monitor 3. However the Dashboard always opens on Monitor 2. Is there anything you can do to make the Dashboard open on the system primary monitor?

I did not get a response last time, so here is a new screenshot. It found 939 errors all up, but only displayed 62 to check whether I wanted to keep them. I ran the Clean and Fix, then reran the Cleaner, it did not find any new files????? What happened to the other 900 it cleaned without letting me know what they were and letting me check them first.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure whether I understand the question.

If you are asking why restoring a backup with the program's backup tool after running a System Cleaner scan does not restore some log file, that is because certain data types (such as temporary files which log files are considered) are not backed up by the program. The main backup feature of the program is that it creates a System Restore Point and we are recommending users to use that as the main method of backup.

No data is ever cleaned without user's permission. This is simply a cosmetic bug, which is caused by miscalculating the number of found items. We are trying to fix the issue, but it is not happening in our testing systems, so it's not an easy fix.

EDIT: We have now been able to reproduce the bug. It will be fixed to the next released version, ETA: Thursday this week. Thank you very much for reporting!

You could try to edit the C:\program files (x86)\jv16 PowerTools\Settings\UI.dat and change the values under . This has been an issue with the product for a while, but since 99% of the users are not using multiple screens, and we cannot really reproduce this issue without building a custom computer with multiple screens, it does not seem feasible to do at this time, I'm afraid.

Thank you for clarifying the 'Restore' function, it does makes sense.

I can test that window location opening on the left screen on my triple monitor when I am back on it. I have similar specs so can see if it is a localised issue or not. I am sure it opened where I last closed it, but will confirm (I also agree, it is not a tragedy if it doesn't) :)

Is it possible/feasible in future upgrades, to have a choice to have all deleted (cleaned) items moved to the recycle bin rather than deleted outright?
