duplicate finder 'select menu'

When I run duplicate finder it says something to the effect that "you can use the select menu to ...". However I don't see a select menu...

I am not sure what the report is showing. I'd like to see all the files that are duplicated, in each location, and choose the ones in a given location(s) to delete leaving just one somewhere. How do I do that?

You can see the select menu by clicking the top left corner of the app window, where it reads "jv16 PowerTools". Does this help?

I share rnmerchant's confusion here.

Once I have obtained a list of my duplicate files, I click on JV Power Tools in the upper lefthand corner, and and presented with a dropdown menu with Select All; Select None; Select All Except One; etc.

So my hope is that by selecting "Select All Except One," I will see checkmarks next to all duplicates of each duplicated file, but not the "original," so that by then selecting "Delete," I can delete all but one instance of each duplicated file.

But selecting "Select All Except One" doesn't seem to do anything at all. No checkmarks show up in any boxes.

What might I be doing wrong?

This is indeed a bug. Thank you very much for reporting! I have been now able to reproduce and fix this bug. The fix will be included to the next released version. Thank you again!
