How to select all? (was: System Cleaner Suggestion)

It would be great to select multiple items at once, without the need to click them all 1 by 1.

I have used an earlier version of jv16 Powertools (jv16 PowerTools 4.2.0.1894 to be exact) where I could select the first item to the last item, to make them all highlighted and than choose ctrl+m to place a "V" or to tick them all. Than I could simply click on the remove button or "del" button to remove only those that got selected. Now I need to click each individual key or item... It's kinda time consuming to be honest.

Seems this option is not there anymore in 6.0.0.1220 : : :|

You can select all items with the Select menu. Either by opening the main menu (click the top left corner), or from the Right Click menu (i.e. right click the results lists and a menu will show up).

I do know that and did saw that. But if the one that I need to remove are separated in the list, that trick won't work at all because than it will remove all of them including those that I don't want to be removed which will lead to an unstable OS!

I see what you mean now.

Selecting items by highlighting was a very confusing way, that is why it was removed. I will try to come up with a new way to allow easier multiple selection. Would you have any ideas? For example, select by entering a search word perhaps...?

Searching for a specific word, if you know the word (example a program you uninstalled a few days ago, to check for left overs after you used the uninstaller), or searching for tmp, bak, temp, etc files (which are temporary and Windows 10 like to place them all as a reg key in the registry : )

In jv16 PowerTools 4.2.0.1894, I have selected the first key I want to be removed, pressed shift, clicked on the last key I want to be removed and all keys in between were selected. Kinda like the Windows Explorer selection style.

Or to make things even easier for me, I select the first key, press (left) shift, select the last key, press ctrl, click on the next key while holding the ctrl button and click on shift and on the next last key and I have 2 boxes of keys selected. (Like in Windows Explorer with selecting folders or files) Sometimes I use (left) shift and ctrl a lot of times in 1 go, to select parts that I need to select.

Don't know if this is possible with jv Powertools... :)
