After reading great reviews of this program I decided to try it out for myself. But after installing the program in it's 'trial mode' it asked me to update it's internal cache and then nothing happened. The bar at the top is greyed as though it's not in focus (though it is down in the taskbar) and nothing happens when I mouse over any of the options. After reading through the forums, I disabled DEP entirely, disabled my antivirus and firewall software and anything that could possibly interfere with this program's install/run, but no change. Any other advice as to how I can get this program working would be greatly appreciated. My operating system is Windows XP Pro SP2, I have an AMD 64 3000+ processor, 512 MB RAM, Norton Antivirus 2003, Kerio Personal Firewall. Thanks for your help.

Don't update the cache for the time being.

There will be a new (beta) version out this mounth.

Mabye this will fix that problem.

I appreciate the quick reply. I tried disabling the cache for all my partitions, but apart from a longer startup time, there was no difference. I noticed in all of my settings files, none of the settings have been added, it just says Last asked and a long number, but apart from that, no other settings. It never got past trying to connect to the central server and then update it's internal cache on its first run, so I never got any settings set. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, telling it no when it wanted to update the internal cache, but with the same results. If I try to click on any of the options, I just get the windows Exclamation beep, letting me know something's (obviously) wrong but I can't click on any of the options and no options get underlined when I mouse over them and I can't click any menu options. If you need any more info, let me know. :
