Installed and ran JV tools (downloaded 5 May 2018 from Macecraft website, When I rebooted, the taskbar would not populate, and i go the circle "hourglass" icon whenever the cursor was over the taskbar. Sometimes, the desktop would come up and sometimes not, but either way, no icons would function, nor would the windows start menu. After some time, the screen foes black except for the task bar (still not populated) flashing off and on. All I can do is hit Ctrl-alt-delete and shut down. Attempts to repair Windows 10 or restore it were unsuccessful.
The computer is my sister-in-law's and she has no back up, so I can't simply reinstall the operating system.
Any advice/help is appreciated.
