This software has been good until now. Using it for years, until my last version. I'm not sure if the programmer became mentally retarded, but an automatic restart without enough notice make me lose a video that I was editing for 2 long hours! Automatic restarts are one of the most undesirable things in the world, and jv16 finally did it!

Never buying you again, and making a blog about this terrible and unexpected experience, in a hope to thwart your future sales.

I think it is a mistake with the latest versions? I don't think the intent would be to restart automatically because of the potential issues it could cause. You describe one example, but even with just a normal scan and cleanup, automatic restart does not allow you to read the jv messages before the computer restarts. On my latest scan and clean, when fix was finished I briefly glimpsed a red error line at the bottom of the screen before the computer quickly restarted. Before I could read it, the computer shut down and restarted. I can't think that would be desired behavior?

First of all, sorry to hear about this experience. For me to better understand what happened, could you please let me know of what feature of the product you are referring to? Each of the automatic restart features of the software do show this on the UI, so I would be interested to hear to which of these features you are referring to so we can review exactly how the automatic restart is visible in the UI and whether it is clear enough.
