Macecraft - I purchased a license for two computers over the past two years. Never experienced a glitch until this beta version (jv16PT2017). It is not a debugged software package. I run Visual Studio to capture each crash dump.
Not sure what Macecraft was thinking to release 2017 prematurely. Not good. I regret complaining and don't believe that by complaining anything productive is achieved. This Forum topic is a comment on how Macecraft trashed a good reputation and solid credibility by selling the software license to loyal customers. There must be a desperate backstory at Macecraft to release a new version of software that does not operate at all.
Can't be from a high dept to earnings ratio. I would believe Macecraft rushed the product to market due to financial problems but that's impossible when no support is made available, labor is expensive, I get that. Can't be from a high cost of living either, Finn's get free medical and free education. So maybe someone else knows the answer to the same question: why the hell is the customer beta testing this software? Totally a Pain In The Ass.
Briefly, I run a laptop and desktop - Windows 10 - latest build, clean installs. All utility software is purchased, I believe in licensing my software. I renewed my jv16PT licenses and installed 2017. In 6 weeks time, the software has not completed a single task on either of 2 computers. The result is a bigger mess in the system files from repeated hangs and crashes; the software has never concluded a damn thing.
Maybe all the Unnecessary "security" features are conflicting with software commands. I don't know what the reasons are and sadly, I don't even want to attach crash reports because I would expect an answer from Macecraft. Speaking of the added bells and whistles, why add another layer of crap on top of what used to be the best registry maintenance utility on the planet. Get back to what you do best. Please eliminate the crapware in jv16PT2017 and get back to Macecraft's core expertise. Please. OR REFUND MY MONEY. I received no value for the 2 purchased licenses. That SUCKS.
