Unable to install last two updates

Very "weird" problem. I had version .1666 installed and all was well. I am unable to install the subsequent updates, viz., .1670 and .1681

When I went to install them, virtually nothing happened!

I uninstalled version .1666 completely and tried again, with the same results.

I deleted any reference/files I could find that pertain to jv16 PowerTools 2017 with the same result.

I then used Regedit to delete any keys, that I could, that pertain to jv16 PowerTools 2017, again with the same result.

Currently I have NO version of the program installed!

What can I do to install the latest update?

When you say you "When I went to install them, virtually nothing happened!" what do you mean exactly? How did you attempt to do the installation? I am asking this to try to understand the exact steps you took before encountering this problem.
