Remove files on reboot doesn't work

Hi,

I've tried to delete the temp folder of avira (anti virus tool).

This temp folder has a lot of junk files. I've added follow directory:

"c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Avira\Antivirus\TEMP\"

jv16 PowerTools 2017 doesn't delete this folder inc. files.

Another problem is that "Remove files on reboot" can not add empty directories and doesn't delete them.

My system: Windows XP SP3, jv16 PowerTools 2017 4.1.0.1666

Can this directory be removed by explorer? If not, I would guess it is protected by Avira against deletion.

The way file (or directory) removal works is that a software, such as jv16 PowerTools, asks Windows to delete the item. If Windows refuses to do so, software cannot delete the item.

I thought the trick is deletion on reboot. That means deleting files before windows or other programs protect these files.
