jv16 PT 2017 build 1666 - CSMC very slow

On my computer Clean and "Speedup" my computer takes 1019 seconds ( = 17 minutes) to finish froms Start to displaying the result list :

This is even slower than a snail.

The previous build took 11-12 minutes to do the same scan, so the new build is worse.

Well, this build is really too slow for me and I dropped jv16 PT 2017 from my computer. I'll go on with PowerTools X. PTX does the job in only 3 minutes

Would you be so kind and install jv16 PowerTools 2017 build 1666 again, run Clean and SpeedUp My Computer once, then archive as ZIP and send me the link to download it via a forum private message?

I would like to learn what is going on at your side and the reason why jv16 PoweTools 2017 performs its scan operation so slowly in that environment.

This could help both you and other users as well, considering that jv16 PowerTools X is not a viable solution anymore, considering the much improved accuracy and safety mechanisms now implemented into jv16 PowerTools 2017. Sure, jv16 PowerTools X is a good product, but jv16 PowerTools 2017 is better in every way and if it performs strangely in a certain environment such as yours, then we should learn why and solve whatever is causing this.

Through several private messages I've tested several private builds (1660, 1663, 1665) made avaiable to me by Jouni itself.

In the lastest of those builds (1665) the tool Clean and Speedup My Computer was quicker than the one in the new build 1666 on my system. Build 1665 finished the job one in 418 second and once in 469 seconds.

I wonder why the newest build 1666 takes more than 1000 seconds to do the same job on the same machine.

I will reinstall that build and make the results available to you via private message.

OK, I've done a fresh install of build 1666 from scratch, i.e. not installing over existing/previous build.

Disabled Norton Security.

Ran Clean and Speedup My Computer. Result: 1335 errors in 906 seconds (15 minutes).

Leftover software data scan ran as last component and seems to be slow(est).

I'll send Mihai the link from WeTransfer to zipped backup dir.
