FYI initial test results show that WordPerfect X8, CorelDraw X8 and Pinnacle Studio 19 work fine (opening their own created files, etc.) after the system has been cleaned with jv16 PowerTools 2017.
Tests were performed multiple times, for both default aggression as well as maximum aggression scan modes.
This possible false positive by jv16 PowerTools investigation continues at our side, however, if you could please see my most recent post above then please know that any and all additional information that you could provide at this point regarding particularities of your system may greatly help us to determine what could have been the cause of the problem, if any caused by jv16 PowerTools, at your side.
Do you also have a support ticket open? If you do, please send me your ticket number in a forum private message so I can correlate the information discussed in the ticket with your case.
Last but not least, the best you could do is run jv16 PowerTools 2017 > Clean and fix my computer, allow it to display the scan results (default aggression scan mode) and then close the program (do not point the product to fix). Then, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\jv16 PowerTools 2017 and archive the "Backups" folder in ZIP or RAR and send it to me as a private forum message, after you have uploaded it to a service such as wetransfer.com or any other similar.
If you are concerned about your privacy, then please do not post your "Backups" archive in the public forums as it may contain private information about your system.
