When using the registry cleaner in the latest build (311) of PowerTools 2005, it removes (somehow) the icon cache for Winamp (*.mp3 formats and possible others) in LimeWire. I would search for a mp3 speech file, when I would notice that the icon for Winamp is a generic windows "unknown" icon. Reinstalling LimeWire would not help. The only way to fix it is by removing Winamp completely (reinstalling on top would not help), then reinstalling it again. Resetting the icon cache via MS PowerTools does not help.
Just letting you know. I have posted this bug on the LimeWire forums, but no one knew of this problem, as many do not use PowerTools registry cleaner.
