File Tools Merge feature not working for me.

Trying to merge small video files (mp4).

When bringing into File Tools Merge a few files (4 or 5) I click merge and give it a new "name.mp4"

Resultant new file when played has only the first file in it but the properties for that file show the new file size to be the sum total of the 4 0r 5 files I am attempting to merge.

Any help would be most appreciated.

No answer yet. Appears that PT will not merge mp4 video files.

SO tried MP$Joiner which does work very well for me - and it is free. Just Google it.

Dear Jim, apologies for the long reply time.

You do need a video editing tool to merge video files, jv16 PowerTools does not support this feature.
