tomk wroteEvery time I start jv16 Powertools X, it wants to run Initial Setup. This occasionally hangs about 50% through the progress bar, other times it runs to completion. This is really annoying and I would be happy if someone could let me know some tweaks I can make to stop this.
jv16 PowerTools X Initial Setup runs one time every 20 days minimum, or any time the cache files get corrupted (should not happen, but could). We recently released jv16 PowerTools X - Version 4.0.0.1506. Starting with jv16 PowerTools 2016 (currently in Beta 2 - for testing purposes only), Initial Setup runs only once, at product setup time, cache files being updated based on a set of rules using a background process.
Do not hesitate to write back in case you are facing any further problems with Initial Setup hanging or running at seemingly too often times.
