aurelius wroteGreetings,
I believe I am using the current version but I have an anomaly. In the past (and I mean last version) I would click the Clean and Fix my Computer button and it would process. Then I would repair the items it listed and then return to the main page. This would then be changed to 100% for Overall PC Health, Registry Health and File system Health. Startup system health would always be around 60 - 70% because I have a bunch of trash stuff that I like loading up at startup. But now, after running it (newest version) I get Overall PC health at 65%; Registry Health at 66% and File System Health at 31%. Does not make sense to me. I've run the program a couple of times and this is a consistent low score. I've had to do a reinstall of my win 7 x64 Ultimate recently and I don't have near as many programs installed as before. What should I do to raise those low health marks?
Respectfully,
aurelius
Hi,
I understand how you must feel in such a situation, given the previous metrics displayed by jv16 PowerTools X in your previous Windows version.
At this point, it sounds like a bug in the Computer Health calculation method of jv16 PowerTools X.
Even if we have greatly improved this area of the product in jv16 PowerTools 2016, I would not recommend you to use the Beta 1 of this new version on a production environment (yet), as it is for testing purposes only. If you do wish to give the new product a try, please keep an eye out for the upcoming newsletter as we are getting ready to release jv16 PowerTools Beta 2 or check out jv16 PowerTools 2016 Beta 1 forum thread here: http://www.macecraft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5767http://www.macecraft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5767
In order to help us pinpoint the bug in your current jv16 PowerTools X product version, please create a zip file of the jv16 PowerTools' Backup directory - by default this is at C:\Program Files (x86)\jv16 PowerTools X\Backups. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The zip file can contain detailed information of your computer for debugging purposes. If you are worried about your privacy, use a service such as https://www.wetransfer.com/ to upload the zip file there and send me the link to the file privately via a forum Private Message.
