Automatic Update?

Why would you do this?

The Automatic Update was added because some users complained it was too much of an inconvenience to update the software manually (download new version, click through the installer).

If you don't wish to use the Automatic Update, it can be disabled from the Settings. May I ask why you wouldn't want to use the Automatic Update feature?

I understand; lazy people.

I have no reason to allow any software to 'automatically' update.

I have any number of applications on my rig which have their update server IPs blocked in my firewall.

If an application on my rig is going to update, it is because I update it.
