Restore in DOS mode

OS win98SE.

I used jv16 in demo mode to clean the registry.

Everything was fine.

after this I optimized the registry with scanreg /fix and scanreg /opt

now nothing works anymore :-(

I can't start windows not even in protected mode.

I can't fine usefull backups of system.dat and user.dat.

Only system.bad and user.bad.

is there a way to restore the system.dat and user.dat

from the backups of jv16?

Try to use this:

- scanreg /fixbad

Hope this will help you :).

Also, if you use the /opt command, you normaly need to do that 2 or 3 times. But i don't advice to use the /fix or /opt if nothings is wrong with ur registry.
