Part of My Account not updated after install

The highlighted parts of the window did not update.

After Help-->Check for updates and Help-->Apply my license, the top section updated. However, "Latest News" was still old news.

...

No change to this "non-issue" ... I got stuck here while deleting drafts.

After install of build 1487 all parts of my account where fully updated. So unfortunately I can't confirm the mentioned issue.

You perhaps installed to a new folder. I (in effect) installed over the prior installation. "Read more" URL points to < https://www.macecraft.com/jv16-powertools-x-updated-1485/ >, which shows (now anyway) 1486 changes.

When I install to a new folder, the My Account information is all updated. "Read more" URL points to < https://www.macecraft.com/more-updates-to-powertools-x-build-1487/ >.

A minor issue.

Although I've never been on this forum, I've been a user since the days of RegCleaner. One thing I've never done is change the suggested installation directory. Just a "me" thing I guess, but JV16 has never failed to load properly. I do delete earlier versions (folders), if they are present, but only after the newer version has installed and is running. Hope this helps.

I'm also going to add that I've used this registry cleaner on almost all of Windows versions, over the years, without problems (except for those pesky bugs which Macecraft is quick to fix). Currently I'm using JV16-X on an ASUS Win 8.1 desktop with all the bells and whistles. I also use it on an LG laptop with Win 7. There's also a Win 8.1 pad.

No, I did not.

Wow! A big mystery for a minor issue. Later, I will reinstall in debug mode. If My Account is fully updated, it will remain a mystery. Otherwise, perhaps jv16 can figure it out from the debug documents.

After the reinstall, the My Account information is fully updated. So this issue is a NEVER MIND. :

Please let me know if anyone else is experiencing this problem or if you can reproduce the problem. It seems like some sort of caching issue - PowerTools is displaying old data instead of freshly downloaded one.
