Moving folders plus subfolders

With an earlier version of jv16PT, I was able to easily choose all of the files contained within a folder and all of its subfolders for mass changing of the files' attributes. For instance, when copying a large number of backups from a CD to my harddrive, all of the files would have read-only attributes, but I could easily change them all back to archive enmass using my old version of jv16PT. With the latest version, it seems that I can only choose said files via drag-and-drop one folder at a time without including the files within its subfolders. Is there any way around this problem?

Simply use the File Finder to get all the files listed in the File Tool. As you said, the drag and drop will only list the contents of one directory, not all the sub-folders.

Ah, yes. I see that this should work. However, when I instruct the File Finder to "Look only for the following files" and type in D:\ (which is where I copy the backups from my backup CD), the "Start" button remains greyed out. Why is that? What am I doing wrong?

I figured out my problem with the Start button in the File Finder, so please ignore my last post. I had negleted to tell it what to Search In.
