Backups-->File Backups-->Custom restore immediately caused two consecutive 'List index out of bounds (2)' crashes, then the application hung.
The backed up files were merely broken shortcuts:

C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\License_569477.xbin.lnk
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\License_581290.xbin.lnk
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\License_584927.xbin.lnk
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\License_873942.xbin.lnk
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\License_920168.xbin.lnk
C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\License_991363.xbin.lnk
