This is by design. There are quite a few reasons for this, for example, over 90% of our support requests are very similar ("What license do I have?", "Where can I download my license?", "Do I have Platinum VIP level license?") and all these questions are answered in the Download My License page. By getting everyone who wants to contact our tech support to go through this page, we have been able to dramatically drop our support requests and thus improved the response times of the remaining requests.
Also, by directing the users and customers to go through the Download My License page, it shows them the correct support contact details based on their status. That is, Platinum VIP customers are given the highest priority support email address, normal customers the normal customer priority email address and the users who have not bought the software yet, are given the standard support email address.
You are correct that this can be a bit misleading now, we will update the "Download My License" page to communicate this better.
