In previous versions of jv16, each of the various tools had its own unique icon on the desktop and in the Start Menu. For example, CFMC had the same desktop/Start Menu icon as shown in the main home window of jv16 X for CFMC. Unfortunately, in jv16 X all desktop/Start Menu icons are the same as the main program jv16 X icon. At least this is the case in Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional and Windows 10 x64 Tech Preview Build 10049.
Can we get the individual tools icons back? If not, can you publish the old icons on the forum so that we can download them and manually assign them to the various .lnks shortcuts in our Start Menu or desktop?
