I´m a little bit confused.

I´ve pay via PayPal my JV16 Powertools 2014 but i didnt get any License Key.

A Question at the Support gets no response.

What is the Problem?

You have my Money but i have no Key

There were problems with sending the licenses, but this has now been fixed. I have answered your ticket and am sorry to hear that you have not received the answer. The license error has been fixed so you should receive the license shortly as the backlog of licenses is sent out.

If you paid using PayPal I'd contact them, explain the situation and get a refund.

Can not download new license key. Are there problems? Received E-mail with necessary info, but can not access the license download from the E-mail or entering manually online. Any ideas?

I seem to have the same problem here and when I try to get help it seem that they have no record of me as a customer, so I can't get help. I donated when they were trying to raise money by "crowd funding" and they took my money but have not provided the license they promised. I see that I am not alone here with people not getting the product they thought they bought. Funny thing is that I just got a survey wanting to know how they were doing with their support. Wonder what they think my response will be? What do we have to do here go public?

Charles, given my immense respect for Macecraft and decades long usage of their products, it pains me to say that I fear you are out of luck. As Macecraft purportedly works to prepare PowerTools for open source release, I'm afraid they've abandoned their current customer base. You should expect no action on your request.

I'm afraid you are probably correct Frederick.

Open Source my A**, people like you and myself have spent countless hours beta testing Jouni's software.

At the end of the day all he is now trying to do is rip people off.

Personally I've no more time for the guy. If he'd put it to open sorce and left it that it would have been fine.

What he is doing now is just stealing from people.

Good points, DooGie. I'm glad, though, that a lucky few of us were involved during JV16's heyday. It was great fun helping to build a great product. I'm sad it had to end this way, but given industry and technology changes, the end was inevitable. And actually, I'm torn. I'll miss using JV16, but frankly I'm glad we really don't need it anymore. Kudos to Macecraft for helping us get to this point.

I bought the jv16 PowerTools on 26th June 2014. While attempting to buy the program I was unsuccessful on the first few attempts. However, on the final attempt I was directed to the payment confirmation page (see attached) and my credit card was charged with the following software trace #10084 but I have not received the license as yet. I tried using the customer data check page at (http://www.macecraft.com/contact-us-check/) and I am getting the following message "Could not locate any orders with the entered information. Please try again." Please Help!!

dclarke, contact your credit card company and work with them to obtain a refund. Unfortunately, since deciding to open source PowerTools, Macecraft no longer appears to be a functioning, or responsive, company. I hate to have to recommend this approach, but all indications are that you have no other choice.

Read this advice. It's correct. Macecraft doesn't answer anything. The staff seems to have disappeared. All money spent to jv16 PowerTools is useless. Don't buy anything from Macecraft anymore: it's wasted money.
